HPV vaccine catch-up programme now available for Male & Female

The HPV vaccine is free and the programme will run until the end of 2023.

Who can get a vaccine

You can get a HPV vaccine if you’re:

  • in second to sixth year of secondary school, homeschool or special school
  • female age 24 or younger
  • male age 21 or younger

If you’re an international student living in Ireland, you can get a vaccine if you’re:

  • female age 24 or younger
  • male age 21 or younger

If you’re a refugee or seeking protection in Ireland, you can get a vaccine if you’re:

  • female age 14 to 24
  • male age 14 to 21

Book a HPV vaccine appointment

Things you need to book online

You’ll need:

  • a mobile phone number so we can send you your appointment details
  • an address or Eircode

We also ask for your Personal Public Service (PPS) number. If you do not have one, you can still get a vaccine.
